Deuteronomy 26:7   And when we cried unto the LORD God of our fathers, the LORD heard our voice, and looked on our affliction, and our labour, and our oppression:

God of our fathers, known of old—

God of Abraham,  Iseac and Jacob

Lord of our far-flung battle line—
Beneath whose awful hand we hold
Dominion over palm and pine—
Lord God of Hosts, be with us yet,

Lord God known the Almighty, mighty and great in battle.

God of vengeance of His people.

Who says God is not working as of old??

Dividing the red sea?
Raining of manner
Spring of water from the rock
who divided the river Jordan
The fall of the wall of Jericho
Supernatural fire to Elijah's prayers . etc

God of our fathers still works like the days of old,  if only we can call on Him and trust Him like those of old.
