His promises are with those that genuinely serve him

Deuteronomy 3:1 Then we turned, and went up the way to Bashan: and Og the king of Bashan came out against us, he and all his people, to battle at Edrei. 3:2 And the LORD said unto me, Fear him not: for I will deliver him, and all his people, and his land, into thy hand; and thou shalt do unto him as thou didst unto Sihon king of the Amorites, which dwelt at Heshbon. 3:3 So the LORD our God delivered into our hands Og also, the king of Bashan, and all his people: and we smote him until none was left to him remaining.

Israelites were under the leadership of Moses during their Exodus from Egypt. As they faced challenges and battles, He implores them to heed the commandments and statutes of the Lord. It is a call to sincere and unwavering service, recognizing God as the ultimate authority.

Eventually, their genuine service towards God brought about great victories. It is a testament to the power and faithfulness of our God when we genuinely serve Him. In our lives, too, as we navigate the battles of our own, let us remember that God's promises are not empty words. He stands by those who serve Him with sincerity and dedication.

In Verse 3 we see the highlights of the divine favor bestowed upon those who walk in obedience. God's promises extend beyond mere physical victories; they encompass the spiritual realm. When we serve God wholeheartedly, He grants us spiritual victories, peace that surpasses understanding, and a deep connection with the Almighty.

So, what are the promises for those who genuinely serve God?

1. Divine Guidance: As we serve God sincerely, He promises to guide us through life's journey. Our paths may be uncertain, but God's guidance is our steady compass.

2. Victory Over Challenges: Just as the Israelites triumphed over their enemies, God assures us victory over the challenges we face. With Him by our side, no obstacle is insurmountable.

3. Spiritual Blessings: The greatest promises extend beyond the material realm. God promises spiritual blessings, a profound relationship with Him, and the eternal joy of His presence.

4. Abundant Life: Genuine service to God leads to a life filled with purpose, meaning, and abundance. He provides not just what we need but exceeds our expectations with His blessings.

As a community of believers, let us renew our commitment to serve God genuinely. May our actions, words, and thoughts be aligned with His will, knowing that in our sincere service, we unlock the abundance of His promises.

In conclusion, our genuine service to God will determine the fulfilment of God's promises in our lives. Let us live a life pleasing to God, and ensure a service that comes from the heart do we can enjoy the fulfilment of his promises.

God bless you.
