Always be happy, kind and patient

Philippians  4:4 Rejoice in the Lord alway: and again I say, Rejoice.  4:5 Let your moderation be known unto all men. The Lord is at hand.  4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.  4:7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Apostle Paul in his letter to the Philippians encourages  the  believers to be happy kind and patient in their daily life. This encouragement reveals the evidence of the fruit of the spirit in the life of a believer.

The call to rejoice is rooted in our relationship with the Lord. Regardless of the challenges that life may present, our joy is found in the unwavering love and faithfulness of our Savior. It is a joy that transcends the temporal, offering a deep-seated peace that surpasses all understanding.

As we embrace this joy, Paul urges us to extend kindness to one another. "Let your gentleness be evident to all," he says (Philippians 4:5, NIV). Our kindness is a reflection of God's love working through us, a beacon that draws others closer to the source of true joy. In a world often filled with strife, our gentle and kind demeanor becomes a powerful testimony to the transformative power of Christ.

Yet, the journey of rejoicing and showing kindness is accompanied by the virtue of patience. "Do not be anxious about anything," Paul advises, "but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God" (Philippians 4:6, NIV). Patience is the balm that soothes the anxious heart, trusting in God's perfect timing and His sovereignty over our lives.

In our pursuit of joy, kindness, and patience, we are reminded that prayer is the bridge that connects us to the source of all good things. "And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus" (Philippians 4:7, NIV). Prayer becomes the key to unlocking the peace that surpasses understanding, a peace that becomes a fortress guarding our hearts and minds in the midst of life's storms.

Beloved, let us live our life daily with hearts filled with rejoicing, hands ready to extend kindness, and spirits cloaked in the patience that only comes through communion with our Heavenly Father.

God bless you.
