The rejected Saviour

Matthew  27:17 Therefore when they were gathered together, Pilate said unto them, Whom will ye that I release unto you? Barabbas, or Jesus which is called Christ? 

27:18 For he knew that for envy they had delivered him.

  27:19 When he was set down on the judgment seat, his wife sent unto him, saying, Have thou nothing to do with that just man: for I have suffered many things this day in a dream because of him.

27:20 But the chief priests and elders persuaded the multitude that they should ask Barabbas, and destroy Jesus.

Jesus Christ the saviour of us all did all for man kind,  both in miracles, signs and wonders and salvation,  yet man rejected Him. 

He raised the dead,  yet He was condemned to death

He provided for the hungered yet,  He was hungry on the cross.

He gave all His love for men,  yet hatred was returned by men.

Because of the salvation of man,  He was despised and rejected,  He was beaten like a criminal,  yet without sin, 

He was humiliated for our sake,  and latter crucified

Men desired to free a criminal,  but chooses to imprison the saviour

Today,  many ways we are rejecting the saviour

By our behaviour and character,  we are rejecting Him

We claimed we love Him,  yet we are hypocrite

He condole our sins through His mercy and grace which still preaches forgiveness and salvation

But a day is coming

When He will pour out lukewarm christians,

He is a man of Peace now,  but a day is coming He will war against the unrighteous

You reject Him today,  but a day is coming He will reject you for eternity,  if you choose to continue in your life of sin. 

Today is the day to change from being rejecting Jesus Christ your saviour,  and embracing His eternal love He has given you.

Tomorrow can be too late.  Make the decision now.
