An Incorruptible Inheritance
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 1:4 To an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,

Undefiled: Our inheritance is pure and holy, free from any stain or blemish. It is not tainted by the imperfections of this world. In a society often marked by moral and ethical decay, this assurance of purity is profoundly comforting.
Unfading: While everything around us may wither and fade, our inheritance remains vibrant and eternal. It does not lose its luster or worth over time. It is ever-fresh and perpetually glorious.
Peter emphasizes that this inheritance is "reserved in heaven for you." This is not a vain promise but a guaranteed reservation, kept secure by the power of God. It is set aside specifically for each believer, awaiting us in the eternal presence of our Lord.

How should this promise of an incorruptible inheritance impact our daily lives?
