A new person

Galatians  6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.

In ancient times before the coming of the Lord Jesus Christ, there has been a legalism that only the circumcised are recognised by God and are privileged to enjoy God's blessings. But the coming of the LORD Jesus Christ put an end to this indifference and makes everyone either circumcised or not to be partaker of God's eternal glory.

In the verse above, Apostle Paul addresses the core indifference. He emphasizes that adherence to religious rituals or traditions does not hold significance in the eyes of God. Instead, what truly matters is the inner transformation that occurs when one becomes a new creation in Christ.

We can have an in depth knowledge about this when we consider these three essential aspects:

1. Renewed Identity: Through faith in Jesus Christ, we are not merely reformed or improved versions of our former selves; we are fundamentally transformed. Our old self, with its selfish desires and sinful tendencies, is crucified with Christ, and we are born anew. This new identity is marked by righteousness, holiness, and a deep sense of belonging to God's family.

2. Radical Equality: Paul's words challenge any notion of superiority based on external factors such as ethnicity, social status, or religious observance. In Christ, there is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female (Galatians 3:28). We are all equal recipients of God's grace, invited to partake in the blessings of salvation regardless of our background or past mistakes.

3.Responsibility and Fruitfulness: Being a new creation is not merely a passive experience but a call to active discipleship. As we walk in obedience to God's Word and the leading of the Holy Spirit, we bear fruit that reflects our transformed nature. This fruit is characterized by love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control (Galatians 5:22-23), serving as a testimony to the power of God's work in our lives.

We just always understand that our doctrinal practices, religious rituals or acts, ethnicity and or traditions does not take any effect before God rather, we just be transformed by the renewal of our mind and soul the the salvation in Christ Jesus thereby making us become an heritage of God.

In conclusion,  Let us lay aside any reliance on our own efforts or achievements and instead surrender to the transformative work of the Holy Spirit. May we live as ambassadors of reconciliation, proclaiming the message of salvation to a world in need of redemption.

God bless you.
