What builds up a nation is righteousness, Political leaders usually prescribe a military force,  a strong economy and the development resources,  improvement of education and technology. Righteousness is a nation's greatest treasurer,  righteous living determines a nation's destiny Sin brings down any nation,  when they refuse to glorify God and be thankful,  When they chose idolatry over true worship When they practiced violent,  deceitful,  and proud,  when they choose selfishness and greediness.  Sin brought to he downfall of many once-proud empires The Babylonian Empire The Medo-Persian and Grecian Empire The Romans Empire Neither nation nor individuals can sin and win (number 32:23) How can we make a difference today? National exaltation depends on how individual citizens live,  A nation is blessed by righteous citizens so also a  nation's is disgraced by unrigh

Philippians  4:8 Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. We live in a negative world,  this Negative world has Many problems that characterised it.  We are affected by  the world's trouble, raging from violence,  abortion,  home  breakups, child abuse,  Hospitals, prisons among others.  But we are not to be Negative People,  we are to focus on positive thoughts and praise,  Things that true,  honest and just Things that are pure,  lovely, and  of good report. Still some Christians are Negative.... Complaining how can we ever stay positive in this Negative world? We must reprogram our thinking,  we are constantly bombarded by negative messages Though we are aware of the world's problem keep increasing everyday Though we are aware

Psalms  121:1 I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.  121:2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth. God  places so many premiums on relationship/ fellowship, it is the purpose of man's creation , to worship and glorify him. No matter how much one may be surrounded by people, nothing worthwhile would be achieved by trusting them. Utter dependence on parents can't help. Even dependence on relatives and friend blantly fails. The best place to look is Up. Those who look to God are radiant: their faces are never covered with shame. Man's help has limitations in scope and volume, Only God's help is unlimited and inexustible. Turn to Him and wait for His help. God bless you.

James  5:7 Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. One moment of patience may prevent disaster; one moment of impatience may ruin a life. Just like a law enforcement officer who asked a driver to stop... In like manner God at some particular  junctions of our  life, he has instructed us to be patient and wait for His next direction, but our impatient spirit couldn't let us wait... Which later resulted into disaster at the end We may have every document to drive like the driver, we may have practiced holiness best to our ability, but yet God says it's not time for u to get out of that situation  We may have fasted and prayed for a particular job, but yet God says your

Numbers  14:8 If the LORD delight in us, then he will bring us into this land, and give it us; a land which floweth with milk and honey. The land of Cannan which was a promised land to the Israelite was fully occupied by giant and great men. But that never stop God from displacing them and placing His own people there . It doesn't  matter if your promise land has been occupied , It doesn't  matter if the place you ought to work has no vacancy. It doesn't matter if your supposed husband or wife (the will of God) is currently in a relatiohip What needs to be done is God to displace some for you to be placed. Remember : Saul was displaced for David to be placed. Vashti was displaced for Easter to be placed.etc As long as you remain In God, you can never be put of place. Leviticus  6:13 The fire shall ever be burning upon the altar; it shall never go out. Secret devotion is the very essence , evidence , and barometer of vital religion. How many times have you prayed personally for the Church, ministry , your own soul, your children, your relations, your neighbours, your country . All this should be your fat sacrifices on the alter of your private devotion  God loves to see the hearts of his people glowing towards himself. Let us give to God our hearts, all blazing with love, and seek his grace, that the fire may never be quenched; for it will not burn if the Lord does not keep it burning. Many foes will attempt to extinguish it; but if the unseen hand behind the wall pour thereon the sacred oil, it will blaze higher and higher Your power in the public is a reflection of what you have done (prayer) in the private Build your own Altar now. 1 Peter  5:8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: It always come unnoticed , A little crack gives way for a lizard to penetrate in . if control measure not taken , it will become the source of collapse for the building In one's life , a little crack can give the devil a chance to come in, once the devil penetrates, it becomes very difficult to amend . A little crack can cost you your family A little crack can cost you your career A little crack can cost you your destiny A little crack can cost you your life . Where is your family Alta!? Where is the gift God gave you.? Where is your love for Christ? If you give devil a chance , he will destroy you more than you can imagine . Christianity is not a matter of having correct opinions, feeling certain emotions, or doing certain duties. It is being able to say fruitfully, like Paul, ... Christ lives in me. It is being able to exercise Christ's character in words and in act towards men If you truly know God, you must really believe His words, and believe in Jesus Christ. Our attitude towards God can be measured by our attitude towards others. If God 's life is in you, your behaviour will show it. The Bible even declares that in the last days that perilous times would come and one of the sins of the last days was covetousness. Covetousness is a major problem in our churches today, and it is a real problem among Christians today, and probably all of us are more guilty of it than we even realize. It arises from Selfish Motivation, Covetousness comes from a heart that is selfishly motivated instead of being spiritually motivated. "The heart of the human problem is the problem of the human heart." Man is self-centered. Man is seeking to satisfy himself. No matter how you wish to have... It

Genesis  26:22 And he removed from thence, and dogged another well; and for that they strove not: and he called the name of it Rehoboth; and he said, For now the LORD hath made room for us, and we shall be fruitful in the land. Isaac never gave up while digging well , after he has been chased from others . Determination is the act of coming to a decision or of fixing or settling a purpose No man gets anywhere without having a set goal and determination to achieve it It is a positive emotion that involves persevering towards a difficult goal in spite of obstacles that may come your way. Determination is simply not giving up. No matter how hard things get, or how badly you want to just give up, you keep on ., What are your goals this year?, are you giving up already or you determine to move on ?  The numbers of time you fall do not matter, but the numbers of time you rise and never fall again Determination determines your destiny Go for it.

John  4:14 But whosoever drinketh of the water that I shall give him shall never thirst; but the water that I shall give him shall be in him a well of water springing up into everlasting life. When you make Jesus the Lord of your life, God puts within you an eternal well that will never run dry.  You have an unlimited supply of good things inside you which should be continually bubbling out of you. But Satan doesn't want your joy, happiness, or laughter to flow freely. So he comes along and throws a stone of, sorrow, worry into your well. He would be back again for another stone if u fail to deal with the first, thereby blocking your well to flow . Brace up yourself with the word of God and prayer... Do not listen to the tricks of the devil I pray for you , that God will help you to deal with every stone day by day that can stop the free flow of your well. God bless you.

Ecclesiastes  3:2 A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; King Solomon in one of his books enphasize the importance of time and it's purpose. There is time for everything, but most of we contemporary Christians often misuse and abuse this time. Many of us have decree and declare blessing into our lives this new year... But the Truth is, if you don't work... Blessing may not come. Many people are waiting for prophets to prophesize into their lives, thereby thinking they are carying automatic blessing through the new year.... Alas.. Don't be deceived... Matthew  14:29 And he said, Come. And when Peter was come down out of the ship, he walked on the water, to go to Jesus.  14:30 But when he saw the wind boisterous, he was afraid; and beginning to sink, he cried, saying, Lord, save me. Jesus was walking on the sea of a new day, Peter, one of the desciple beckoned to join him on the sea... It was very easy for Jesus to accept His plea, Peter was the desciple of Christ who always wish to act like Jesus, do all things like Jesus, even to die with Him. No doubt he can become such. Just as Christ said more than He did, we will do more. At the instance Peter the desciple lost focus on Jesus, he started sinking.... There must have been a connection created by Jesus that connect through Peter which makes him to walk on water.  The reason for Peter loosing focus on Jesus could not be known, but can be derived from the following fact. 1. Being proud... That yes.. He can walk on water and other desciple could not. 2. Fear, as a
