Bitter Experience

Day2: Tommorow may be too late 2 Corinthians  6:2 (For he saith, I have heard thee in a time accepted, and in the day of salvation have I succoured thee: behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.) Yesterday we began a series titled "Bitter Experience" , God has made us to understand what Hell entails, the pain, the agony, the eternal gnashing of teeth that await anyone who refuses to accept Christ has their lord and personal saviour.  As much as this secret has been revealed to us that hell is better imagined than experienced, many still find it difficult to give their life to Christ, and live a life of righteousness and  holiness  pleasing to God.  Little did we know that we do not have all the years to keep God waiting, the time is short, Christ is coming soon, and we can die anytime, so the need to accept Jesus Christ today and never delay.  James  4:14 Whereas ye know not what shall be on the morrow. For what is your li...

Bitter Experience

Day 1 : Hell is better imagined than experienced Matthew  7:22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? There are many bitter experiences we come across everyday in our lives, this was the result of the fall of man from the grace of God into sin and death. The life in the garden of Eden was full of peace, joy, happiness and glory of God, there was never pain, or sorrow, everything man needs is at his disposal, but satan came and deceived man in a bid to robb man off the peace and glory of God he enjoys. Ever since, man has began to have bitter experiences, starting from the pain of tilling the ground before it brings out food, the Labour in child birth, animals becoming wild against man, the first murder and many other wicked activities, many of which we experience today. But as God will have it, Christ was sent to give us everlasting peace which will overru...

The devil's Workshop

2 Thessalonians  3:11 For we hear that there are some which walk among you disorderly, working not at all, but are busybodies. The God we serve is a hardworking God, as much as He is God He still make effort to put things in place for man. During the creation we Understand He worked for six days and rested on the seventh day.  Even after the fall of man, He sent His son who worked out our salvation through His teaching, death and resurrection on the third day.  In like manner God wants everyone to be productive and be engaged in a truthful and faithful work, being idle  from doing what is right will eventually makes one become a tool for evil deeds.  The devil never leaves a life empty, he sorts for opportunity to occupy lives which are not productive to God or idle to themselves, he takes over thier lives and perpetrate his evil.  The product of idleness are seen in our society today when many becomes hoodlums, bandits, terrorist and other criminal element...

How is your love for Christ?

John  14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him. After the fall and separation of man from God in the garden of Eden, God makes every possible way to re-unite man to himself by constant communication and devotion, but this could not unite man ultimately. Thus, out of His infinite love for man He send His only begotten Son to die for mankind, that by His death and resurrection man will be redeemed back to Himself  ultimately.  God's love is expressly defined in Christ, and as long as any man would please God, He must first love Christ and His words.  John  14:23 Jesus answered and said unto him, If a man love me, he will keep my words: and my Father will love him, and we will come unto him, and make our abode with him.  14:24 He that loveth me not keepeth not my sayings: and the word which ye hear is not mine, but the Father's which sent...

Beware of false Teaching

1 Timothy  6:20 O Timothy, keep that which is committed to thy trust, avoiding profane and vain babblings, and oppositions of science falsely so called: False teaching has been in existence from generations past, even before the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, apparently it was false teachers who crucify Him, because He came to destroy and expose their evil business.  it was had  to differentiate the truth from lies. Before the ministry of Christ people had first been subjected to the laws of moses which God commanded after the Exodus from the land of Egypt. Others were subjected to wrong teachings and self acclaimed philosophies.  when Jesus Christ came, He introduced the grace of the Father, the truth of God and this becomes the light of understanding of everyone who will end up in His eternal kingdom.  Consequently, the devil never stop to bring counterfeit of the true teaching of Christ, this he does through false teachers who formulate personal selfish and...
