Time to pray

Matthew  26:36 Then cometh Jesus with them unto a place called Gethsemane, and saith unto the disciples, Sit ye here, while I go and pray yonder.  26:37 And he took with him Peter and the two sons of Zebedee, and began to be sorrowful and very heavy.  26:38 Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: tarry ye here, and watch with me.  26:39 And he went a little farther, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass from me: nevertheless not as I will, but as thou wilt.

Prayer is the divine bridge that connects our hearts with God's heart. It is a time to express gratitude for His blessings, confess our sins, share our joys and sorrows, and lay our burdens at His feet. When we pray, we acknowledge our dependence on God and open ourselves to His will. Through prayer, we cultivate an intimate relationship with the Creator, drawing closer to Him in faith and love.

Prayer as a Source of Strength:

Life's challenges can often leave us feeling weak and overwhelmed. However, in times of difficulty, prayer serves as a source of strength. When we kneel before God, we find comfort in knowing that we are not alone. The Bible reminds us in Psalm 46:1, "God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in trouble." Through prayer, we tap into God's inexhaustible power, finding solace and courage to face any adversity.

Prayer for Guidance:

In a world filled with constant distractions and temptations, prayer provides a divine compass to navigate life's journey. Seeking God's guidance in prayer allows us to discern His purpose for our lives and align our actions with His will. As Proverbs 3:5-6 teaches us, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight."

Prayer for Transformation:

When we pray with sincerity and humility, God transforms our hearts. Through prayer, we experience His sanctifying grace, molding us into better versions of ourselves. It is in these moments of prayer that we gain the strength to let go of bitterness, forgive others, and become vessels of love and compassion. As we pray for God's spirit to work within us, we discover the power of divine transformation.

But there are basically sensitive times to pray

1) Luke 18 v 1 pray at all time, continuous prayer is the key to continuous breakthrough. We all know the devil is running a full-time schedule so we shouldn't do a part time prayer. Consistent prayer keeps us knitted with God and gives no room for spiritual laxity.

2) prayer whenever you need God's blessings (James 5 v 17-18). The lord supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory, it is prayer we can activate this promise upon us  as we live our daily life.

3) pray whenever you are going through any battle. There are any time wile face life battle, such as spiritual, emotional,  psychological among others, and the means to get victory by not depending on our own strength or wisdom is to communicate to God in prayers.

4) Pray immediately after every breakthrough, devil our adversory doesn't sleep, always seeking whom to devour. Having breakthrough does mean an end to communicating with God, in fact, our communication should be more intense because the devil our adversory has just been provoked.

5) pray anytime you are about to enter a new thing. The devil strikes into actions when you are resting. Make God the begining of your steps on life by communicating in prayers, by this, He will guide all your steps and direct your path.

6) Pray anytime you don't feel like praying ( it's a greatest signal of spiritual danger if you don't). One of the tools the devil use to disarm any believer is tiredness to pray, once you feel too tired to pray, definitely danger is looming.

7) pray anytime you feel a special burden or urge to pray. At times God moves our spirit to pray, such as making an intercession for people, even those we do not know. By this God brings victory for them.

In conclusion, let us cherish the precious gift of prayer. It is a divine invitation to commune with our Heavenly Father, to seek His guidance, and to experience His transforming love. Prayer is not confined to a particular time or place; it is a constant conversation with God throughout our day-to-day lives.

As we embrace the time to pray, may we find strength in His presence, guidance in His wisdom, and transformation in His grace. Let us become people of prayer, interceding for one another and being channels of God's love and mercy to the world around us.

Let us remember the words of Philippians 4:6-7, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus."

May prayer be an integral part of our lives, a constant reminder of God's faithfulness, and a source of hope in every circumstance. Amen.

God bless you.
