How much can God trust You with?
Luke 16:11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches?
We never really own anything, everything we have is like a loan. It was God's property before we arrived, and He will lend it to somebody else after we are gone.
Our selfish culture says, 'if I don't own it. Why should I take care of it?', those who understand God's will live by a higher standard, they say, 'Because God owns it, I will take care of it even better in God's Kingdom.
Those who are trusted with something valuable must show they are worthy of that trust,
The parable of Jesus about a business man who entrusted his wealth to his servants best illustrate it.
When he returned he evaluated and rewarded them accordingly. "Well done, good and faithful servant, you have been faithful with few things, I will put you in charge of many things, Come and share your masters happiness (Mathew 25:21).
When you make the most of what God has given you, He promises three rewards, first, you will be given commendation, next, you will be given promotion, and finally you will be honoured with a celebration.
For many of us, money is the greatest test of all, Jesus addresses this : if you are untrustworthy about worldly wealth, who will trust you with the true riches of heaven? (Luke 16:11)
There is a direct correlation between how you use your money, and the quality of your life, so the question is, could the way you are handling your money preventing God from blessing you with more?
Can God truly trust you with greater things?
Examine your life.
God bless you.
