God's four days late

John  11:32 Then when Mary was come where Jesus was, and saw him, she fell down at his feet, saying unto him, Lord, if thou hadst been here, my brother had not died. Many are times when the act of God remains a mystery to man, it takes only the spirit filled soul to decode little. Lazarus was sick, Jesus was called but he didn't showed up,  Lazarus who was the friend of Jesus,  at some point He will Lodge at his house after a long time of ministrations.  At some point one would wonder why Jesus didn't make a move when Lazarus was sick... The disciples thought it would be easier for Jesus than when he is dead.  We didn't understand.  Lazarus died despite having Jesus has a friend,  you also may have strong intimacy with Jesus, but when you called on Him for help at some crucial time, He didn't answer...  When Lazarus died, He had people to help contact Jesus, but yet it didn't moved Jesus...   You also have been to so many prominent men of God, spirit filled and fire

Lord, Help Us to See

1 Corinthians  1:26 For ye see your calling, brethren, how that not many wise men after the flesh, not many mighty, not many noble, are called: Jesus didn't see people as losers, but as potential winners who had lost their way. He was moved with compassion for them... (Mark 6:34) He saw them through God's eyes, not weeds, but potential roses. And His perspective, which is often different from ours, brought out the best in them. Where others saw a woman with five failed marriages, He saw a restored sinner who could reach others in Samaria. They saw a blind man; He envisioned someone who could see. They saw a cripple; He pictured a man picking up his mat and walking away. They saw Mathew as a revolutionary tax collector; He saw a future disciple. They dismissed Zacchaeus as a crook; Jesus recognised a searching heart. When His disciples saw costly perfume and unnecessary expense, Jesus recognised the sacrifice of a grateful heart. Others saw an impulsive fisherman; Jesus saw a le

The minute of Turbulence

Isaiah  41:10 Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. Turbulence occurs when there is a disturbance in air flow. An airplane rides on the wind, and if that flow of wind isn’t perfectly smooth, then the plane will shake or move up and down with the “bumps” in the wind.  turbulence is not a danger to the safety of the flight, rather more of an uncomfortable inconvenience. So also in our daily living, we use to experience such times of Turbulence, at the place of work, in our finances, at home or in our  businesses,  Such times gives us a non-convenient situations of life, it sometimes lead to depression, lose of faith in God and even the thought of suicide.  But today God is telling you in His words that He will guide and protect you, no matter how hard the turbulence strike...  No matter how long it takes for the Airplain to come out of the minute

The Voice of Fear

Kings  19:3 And when he saw that, he arose, and went for his life, and came to Beersheba, which belongeth to Judah, and left his servant there. The Bible says Jazebel  sent this message to Elijah: ' you killed my prophets, and now... I am going to kill you'... So Elijah fled for his life (1kings 19:1-3) Often the voice of fear comes after you have had a Mountain-top experience, Elijah had just called down fire from heaven on Mount Carmel. Then Jazebel spoke, she didn't use chariots and solders; she didn't need to, her words intimidated him, depressed him and drove him into hiding. Look out, if you listen to the voice of fear you will be afraid of the next telephone call, the next medical prognosis or the next stock market report. Who are you listening to? Who are you going to believe, God or men? Neither the wind nor the fire nor the earthquake could bring Elijah out of his cave, only the still. Small voice of God could (1Kings 19:11-13). Our fears are often the

God will surprise You

Isaiah  43:19 Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert. Can you imagine Moses surprised when God talks to him from a burning Bush? As does shut without opening. Paul is surprised by a man from Macedonia calling to him in a vision,... 'come over here and help us' (Act 16:9). Do you know that God is still the God of surprises who says, 'see, I am doing a new thing, now it will spring up; do you know perceive it? But there lies the challenge of our perception, we fail to recognise God at work, maybe you are saying,' I have prayed, claimed God's promises, done all I know to do, yet nothing seems to be working for me. ' then try this promise, 'therefore will the Lord wait, that he may be gracious unto you'...(Isaiah 30 :18). Notice the word 'wait', God has a plan and a timetable, many are plans in a man's heart, but it is the Lord's purpos

How much can God trust You with?

Luke  16:11 If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? We never really own  anything, everything we have is like a loan. It was God's property before we arrived, and He will lend it to somebody else after we are gone. Our selfish culture says, 'if I don't own it. Why should I take care of it?', those who understand God's will live by a higher standard, they say, 'Because God owns it, I will take care of it even better in God's Kingdom. Those who are trusted with something valuable must show they are worthy of that trust,  The parable of Jesus about a business man who entrusted his wealth to his servants best illustrate it.  When he returned he evaluated and rewarded them accordingly.  "Well done, good and faithful servant, you have been faithful with few things, I will put you in charge of many things, Come and share your masters happiness (Mathew 25:21). When you make the most of wha

Understand your Problem

1 Samuel  1:5 But unto Hannah he gave a worthy portion; for he loved Hannah: but the LORD had shut up her womb. Sometimes the door will open only when you understand why it was shut in the first place. Consider the story of hannah, she wanted a son, but God wanted a prophet, When she prayed, if you... Give me a son, I will give him back to you  all his life..., God not only gave her Samuel, but also six more children. When you pray for a harvest God will ask you so sow a seed. That seed may be something you love and want to cling to.  Hannah discovered she couldn't be satisfied with less than God's will, Elkanah had two wives, but he loved Hannah the most and granted  her a double portion of his possessions. But when you are not doing what you know God has fully called you to do, the love of people and material things will never satisfy you. Ordained people are not just those people in pulpits, Hannah was ordained to be a mother, You may be ordained to be a wife, a teacher, etc

Living without Regret

Acts  20:24 But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God. Imagine your life is over and you are standing in from of a big DVD player. God inserts a disc with your name on it labelled 'what might have been'.  It details everything He wanted to accomplish through you: how He wanted to bless you financially, but you were afraid to sow into His kingdom and generous with others...  How He wanted to use your gifts, but you lacked the discipline to develop them and the courage to use them...  How He gave you great relationships, but you weren't truthful and loving enough to maintain them...  How He longed to reproduce in you the character of Christ, but you refused to deal with your sin, resist temptation, and pursue spiritual growth... How He wanted to make the best out of you for a successful marriage, but

God's Customized plan for your Life

Philippians  2:13 For it is God which worketh in you both to will and to do of his good pleasure. God is committed to His plan for your life, not yours, you can say 'Lord here is my plan; bless it.' He may and He may not. He created us so we can do the good things he planned for us... (Ephesians 2:10). You can't say, in this category I am doing things my way, but in that category I am led by God. Every step you take must be synchronised by the beat of the Holy Spirit. Nothing should be more important to you than keeping pace with Him. Paul writes, 'For it is God who works in you to will and to act according to His purpose. God works through you as you open your spirit, engage your mind, and use your talents to do what He's already put into your heart. The moment you say yes, He gives you the power to perform His will. Note: He doesn't reveal His will, then call you. No, He called you, and as you step out and obey Him He reveals His will to you step by step. Each

Greatness without Prayer

Deuteronomy  28:1 And it shall come to pass, if thou shalt hearken diligently unto the voice of the LORD thy God, to observe and to do all his commandments which I command thee this day, that the LORD thy God will set thee on high above all nations of the earth: Prayer  is an evolving means of interacting with God, most frequently through a spontaneous, individual, unorganized form of petitioning and/or thanking. ... In these instances, such as with Isaac, Moses, Samuel, and Job, the act of praying is a method of changing a situation for the better Today many people see prayer, fasting as the only solution to problems, but sadly it is not  We may be faced with many tribulations and troubles, and have prayed all kinds of prayer known for, yet the story remains the same,  The first step to greatness, testimony is obedience to God's word.  God reveal the secret of greatness to Moses in the verse above, all the blessings will  come over Israel not after they have prayed, but after they

Be led by God, Not man

Romans  8:14 For as many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. Life is like a maze; it's easy to get lost. Pressure comes at us from every direction to keep others happy,  we study important people in our lives, trying to decide what they want from us and how to give it to them, and in the process we lose ourselves. You need to stop and ask, "who am I living for?, why am I doing the things I do?"  what has God called and equipped you to do? Those who succeed at being themselves don't allow others to control them because they are led by God. As many that are led by God, these are the sons of God  Don't be upset because people place demands on you, it's your life, take charge of it ; they may be coming from your own people-pleasing instincts. When you try to become everything to everybody, you get lost in the process, also when you live for people's approval, you risk forfeiting God's. It's time you start praying,... "Lord,

Wait on the Lord

John  2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee? mine hour is not yet come. Many are times we looked at God in the face disappointed Times we don't want to come back the next day Times  we don't want to take a No for an answer Times we can't wait anymore for a second When we just want God to rise and save us When we are pushed to the wall, knocked down and our strength seems exhausted When it seems life is about to go out on us, But yet the response of God is "My hour  has not come" Life isn't fair, yet we seems disappointed in God who suppose to help and save in times we expect. But the good news is, when it is time and God rise to help, in just a minute you will forget all your past troubles Are you in that position of doubt and disappointment? Stand up, braise up with the little strength that remains  in you Hold your Faith and walk into your salvation Don't give up yet, When there is life, there is hope At 11:59, God can still work w
